It worked well for many years, and was made so much more useful by replacing the wheels with ex army Bren Gun Carrier tracks, a section about 3 feet long on each side. This made the digger much better able to be used in swampy ground and greatly improved it's stability with a load of wet dirt out to the side for emptying. It was bought new in New Zealand in 1952. We used it for many years behind DC Case tractor. They were imported and sold by Doring Implement Supplies, who also sold New Holland Balers. Logan A.
